{"id":4513,"date":"2014-09-15T20:36:09","date_gmt":"2014-09-16T01:36:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=4513"},"modified":"2014-09-15T20:51:00","modified_gmt":"2014-09-16T01:51:00","slug":"back-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=4513","title":{"rendered":"Back Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[Today&#8217;s run: 3.4 miles]<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m back in Mississippi now.<\/p>\n<p>I drove from north-central Colorado down to central Colorado on Saturday.\u00a0 On Sunday I drove down into NE New Mexico, across the panhandle of Texas and through most of Oklahoma.\u00a0 I camped in the back of the pickup truck in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Henryetta, Oklahoma.\u00a0 The weather was cool but my night was interrupted multiple times by people in big pickup trucks doing burnouts.<\/p>\n<p>I got up just before 4 A.M. and got back on the road.<\/p>\n<p>I took a bit of a new route.\u00a0 At Little Rock I headed SE to Pine Bluff then on to Greenville, MS on US-65.\u00a0 It was 4 lane almost all the way.\u00a0 I then took US-82 east to Columbus.<\/p>\n<p>I had a nice trip but it made for a lot of driving.\u00a0 I had no motel expenses.\u00a0 I probably put 2500 miles on the truck at approximately 25 mpg\u00a0 and a fuel cost of roughly 3.40, for\u00a0 a total of $340, more or less.<\/p>\n<p>I have unlimited data on my cell phone so I listened to &#8220;Truth for Life&#8221; and &#8220;Grace To You&#8221; podcasts as well as regular radio stations and chapters of a Max Brand book, &#8220;The Untamed&#8221;, downloaded from Librivox.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[Today&#8217;s run: 3.4 miles] I&#8217;m back in Mississippi now.
