[Today’s run: 5 miles]<\/p>\n

We started of the day with a good run over in Starkville.<\/p>\n

After returning home, I checked in with my neighbor.\u00a0 He had been doing some carpentry work, some repairs on his house after the tornado a few weeks ago.\u00a0 Last week he called for a bit of help putting up some long boards on the fascia.\u00a0 So today I called and he did have some more of that to do.\u00a0 My son and I went over and we helped him get that done.<\/p>\n

Also, the neighbor explained to us about the good fishing spots over in Bluff Lake, the big lake at Noxubee Wildlife Refuge south of Starkville.<\/p>\n

After helping with the carpentry work my son and I loaded up the fishing stuff and went over to Bluff Lake.\u00a0 We found the winding stream which the neighbor told us about.\u00a0 We followed it back quite a way.\u00a0 It was a clear place between the large cypress trees.\u00a0 It did wind around.\u00a0 There were a lot of water plants, cypress tress, and green\/aqua stuff in the water.\u00a0 All we needed was an alligator to make it a real swamp.\u00a0 The picture below is from a\u00a0 bit of a wide spot along the way.<\/p>\n

No snakes though.<\/p>\n

We did not catch any fish.\u00a0 I had a good workout on the rowing and we enjoyed exploring.\u00a0 Maybe we will get the fish next time.<\/p>\n
