[Today’s run: maybe a mile]<\/p>\n
I’m in Windsor, Colorado today and will be hanging out in this part of the country for about a week.\u00a0 My wife (with dog\/rabbit\/cats\/chickens) is holding down the fort in her inimitable way.<\/p>\n
I’m at our daughter’s place.\u00a0 They have a dog here too, a more conventional black-lab-type.\u00a0 I first met him about 5 years ago when we lived in Ft. Collins.\u00a0 My daughter and her roommate brought him to our house and he ripped around the place like a young pup will.<\/p>\n
He still remembers me, I think.\u00a0 When I was here in August we went on a run or walk almost every day.\u00a0 Today we ran again.\u00a0 I made it about three blocks at his pace and then I had to seriously scale back.\u00a0 Altitude, fat, no-training; I’m not up to what he wants to do.\u00a0 I put us down for a mile.\u00a0 It may not have been that far.<\/p>\n
Besides doing that, I’ve mostly just been hanging around the house and working on radio station web stuff.\u00a0 And I’ve done a little bit of work for the office.<\/p>\n
I think we may go to a movie tonight. I have today and tomorrow for “vacation”.\u00a0 Monday is a holiday but I will be working at least a little of that.\u00a0 Tuesday through Friday are back to the normal thing and home again.<\/p>\n
