[Today’s run: none, yesterday 6 miles]<\/p>\n
We have had a good weekend.<\/p>\n
On Saturday we went to the running group in the morning.\u00a0 I ran to the first water stop and back, that makes about 6 miles, maybe a bit more.<\/p>\n
Saturday afternoon I had a nice quiet sit in a hunting blind watching some turkeys cross a field.\u00a0 A bit later some deer came out and I was able to shoot one.\u00a0 We got it gathered up ok and there will soon be some meat in the freezer.<\/p>\n
Sunday we had a very nice service at church topped by a very good sermon.\u00a0 And in the afternoon we went to a neighbor’s house and watched the Broncos beat the Patriots to go to the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n
I have all sorts of projects and plans and things which I am not accomplishing.\u00a0 But the list of accomplishments\u00a0 this weekend looks pretty good to me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
