I apologize, I’ve been slacking on the blog thing recently.\u00a0 I had done pretty well with it, being steady, because I tied my blog to the days I ran.\u00a0 That works ok when I’m running regularly.<\/p>\n
I actually have been running 3-4 days a week, but not as much or as regimented as I was before our marathon in October.<\/p>\n
Recently I have been spending a lot of time on the radio station project.\u00a0 I’ve downloaded 600+ items and I have to go through each one and trim it up a bit and try to get them organized.<\/p>\n
So it’s not like I’ve been watching Gilligan’s Island reruns or something…\u00a0 I’m still trying to catch up from the lost hours of my life of actually doing that.<\/p>\n
Another thing we lost:\u00a0 We woke up on Thursday this week with a headless chicken in the nesting box.\u00a0 It looked like a raccoon or possum just stuck a paw in the lid and helped himself.\u00a0 So out went the trap that night and we caught a possum to blame it on.\u00a0 And we put a bungee cord on the lid of the nesting box to prevent future occurrences.\u00a0 Living in the country is all idyllic and peaceful, unless you are at the bottom of the food chain.<\/p>\n
I took the dead chicken down the road to a place by the railroad tracks.\u00a0 Next day I took the dead possum down to the same place.\u00a0 The chicken was gone.\u00a0 So, I’m probably feeding a coyote or hyena or something.\u00a0 Maybe if he would develop a taste for possum he could save me a lot of trouble.<\/p>\n
