[Today’s run: rest day]<\/p>\n
I checked my blog tonight and discovered that I hadn’t done anything since Monday.\u00a0 And here it’s Friday.\u00a0That’s not too impressive.<\/p>\n
I have run a couple of days this week but just a mile or a bit more.\u00a0 I feel like my back and legs are getting better, just haven’t been in a rush to try to get back to it.\u00a0 I should have gone out today but didn’t.\u00a0 I probably will tomorrow.<\/p>\n
The CBR Inc radio project is slowly moving along.\u00a0 Yesterday I recorded the EAS monthly test from an Alabama station.\u00a0 That went into the EAS project.\u00a0 I’ve been reading a book on how radio stations are managed.\u00a0 And I found two stations which do book readings as their main programming: WYPL in Memphis and WRBH in New Orleans.\u00a0 That’s two more than I had ever heard about before.\u00a0 No roadblocks yet on the FCC front.\u00a0 I don’t think there is much competition for a rural Lowndes County Mississippi radio station license.<\/p>\n
My nixie clock project is moving even slower.\u00a0 I did receive my 1-pulse-per-second (1 PPS) divider chips in the mail yesterday.\u00a0 I plan to use them to divide down the 10 MHz from my GPS-disciplined frequency standard. I actually have enough parts that I probably could start putting things together.<\/p>\n
