{"id":3662,"date":"2013-06-27T18:57:21","date_gmt":"2013-06-27T23:57:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=3662"},"modified":"2013-06-27T18:59:03","modified_gmt":"2013-06-27T23:59:03","slug":"old-pictures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=3662","title":{"rendered":"Old pictures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[Today&#8217;s run: 3.5 miles]<\/p>\n<p>My wife was going through a box of old pictures today.<\/p>\n<p>In high school I was into photography.\u00a0 I used a room in our basement as a darkroom.\u00a0 I did most of the photography for the school yearbook.<\/p>\n<p>Looking at the stuff now, not much of it is any good.\u00a0 But it&#8217;s nice to remember.<\/p>\n<p>I also took a photography class later in my college days and that included darkroom work in a more sophisticated setting.<\/p>\n<p>Then I kind of fell out of photography.\u00a0 I never got into doing my own color work, and paying for the developing was prohibitive.<\/p>\n<p>Kids who are only used to digital cameras don&#8217;t know what it was like to take a roll of pictures and then have to spend $10-$20 to get it printed.
