Today’s run: 4.0 miles<\/p>\n

Recent running: Tuesday: 2.5 miles, Wednesday: 5.0 miles<\/p>\n

Our daughter had been looking for a new vehicle.\u00a0 She is doing more driving since she took over as manager of the Windsor Wing Shack<\/a>, and her old pickup truck was not doing the job.<\/p>\n

We found a good deal near us, and last week we drove her new car out to Colorado to deliver it to her.\u00a0 It was also an opportunity to check in at the office and see folks there.<\/p>\n

We drove the southern route, through Memphis, Little Rock, OK City, up to Salida, KS and over to Denver, then north to her place.\u00a0 We missed some big storms in OK City, came through the day before the largest tornado ever recorded.<\/p>\n

I had the weekend off, and we did some puttering around the daughter’s house, got her local wifi working, mowed the grass, picked weeds.<\/p>\n

On Sunday I visited at the Windsor Baptist Church<\/a>, like I did last December.<\/p>\n

Monday and Tuesday I was at the office.\u00a0 Wednesday too for a bit.\u00a0 Wednesday night we went to a bar where we played trivia, poorly.\u00a0 Had fun with Daughter’s friends and all.<\/p>\n

Thursday we flew back to Jackson, MS where Son was waiting to drive us home.\u00a0 And back home we are.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
