{"id":3458,"date":"2013-03-30T18:28:50","date_gmt":"2013-03-30T23:28:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=3458"},"modified":"2013-03-30T18:31:30","modified_gmt":"2013-03-30T23:31:30","slug":"the-last-lion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=3458","title":{"rendered":"The Last Lion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[Today&#8217;s run: 8 miles]<\/p>\n<p>I thought I would mention this book I have been reading.\u00a0 The Last Lion by William Manchester.\u00a0 It is the second book of a three-part biography of Winston Churchill.\u00a0 Very interesting stuff.\u00a0 I am wading through the mid-1930&#8217;s and how the British government was trying so hard to avoid a repeat of WW-I.<\/p>\n<p>I bought this at the Palmer House Thrift Store, I think.\u00a0 I do not have part 1 or part 3.<\/p>\n<p>Before this I read the autobiographies\u00a0 of U.S. Grant and W.T.
