[Today’s run: Limerock Road, 4 miles]<\/p>\n
I received an email tonight with some links to race pictures from the 1\/2 marathon last Saturday.<\/p>\n
It is an interesting idea (I think so anyway) that a photographer will take lots of pictures at a marathon or half marathon, then they send you some samples with the hopes that you will buy some.<\/p>\n
It is amazing what people can do when the cost of making pictures no longer includes film, development, printing, etc.<\/p>\n
Anyway, I always feel like I am triumphing over adversity during these events.\u00a0 Or at least attempting to.\u00a0 The pictures come out looking like a fat old guy who can barely move.\u00a0 I think it would be even worse if it were a video.\u00a0 And maybe I am a fat old guy who can barely move.\u00a0 But it feels like I’m doing something while I’m doing it.<\/p>\n
I tend not to buy the race pictures.\u00a0 Why mess up a good memory?<\/p>\n
