It sometimes gets in the mood of not responding to the control voltage.<\/p>\n<p>When that happens it acts like a fixed-frequency oscillator.\u00a0 It slowly drifts, and the control card tries to adjust but the drifting continues.\u00a0 Eventually the control card has the voltage all the way and still nothing changes.\u00a0 Not so good.<\/p>\n<p>I have had a few false leads figuring this out.\u00a0 But I think I am finally seeing the reality.<\/p>\n<p>So, now that I recognize the real problem is in the oscillator I am relieved.\u00a0 I could buy another oscillator\u00a0 ($100 on ebay).\u00a0 But I&#8217;m going to try to repair this one first.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[Today&#8217;s run: 3 miles] I&#8217;ve been wrestling with this project for well over a year now.
