[Today’s run: nothing. Yesterday: 9 miles with Boardtown Runners]<\/p>\n

Last summer our AC started having trouble.\u00a0 The coil in the house got all frosty and frozen over and eventually the air would not go through the coil so the AC stopped working.\u00a0 Usually we noticed this when the house temp would get up into the low 80’s.\u00a0 And you could tell that the humidity was rising.<\/p>\n

So, we called the phone number that is on a sticker on the unit.\u00a0 Three guys showed up, an older man, a middle-aged man and a young man.\u00a0 They put more AC juice\/gas in the AC system and it then worked ok.<\/p>\n

Jump ahead to this spring.\u00a0 About 10 days ago, I thought it was frozen up again.\u00a0 I turned it off and put a fan under the coil space.\u00a0 The next morning it was dry so we ran it carefully.\u00a0 I turned the temp up a bit so it did not have to work so hard.\u00a0 We called the number.\u00a0 The man said it would be about a week, run the fan blower even when the AC was not generating cooler air.\u00a0 So we did that.<\/p>\n

And now it doesn’t seem to be freezing up at all.\u00a0 And I’m wondering if I dreamed it.\u00a0 There was a piece of plastic that had gotten in (probably part of the wrapping of the furnace filters).\u00a0 Maybe I saw that and assumed it was icing up.\u00a0 The visibility into the coil is not very good.<\/p>\n

Finally I stuck my camera into the closet and took a picture of the coil.\u00a0 It looks dry.\u00a0 All good.<\/p>\n

So, good news:\u00a0 either I’m going crazy or our AC healed itself.\u00a0 I’ll take it!\u00a0 As long as it is putting out cool air.<\/p>\n

And we have not heard back from the AC man.<\/p>\n
