I don’t watch much television.\u00a0 But you don’t have to have a TV to hear about the recent resurgence of talent shows.<\/p>\n
But talent shows have come and gone over the years.\u00a0 When I was a kid there was the Bill Riley talent show (local to Iowa).\u00a0 And I’m thinking there were some national-shows.<\/p>\n
I remember, it must have been the late 1960’s, watching some kind of talent show on Saturday afternoons.<\/p>\n
Every once in awhile there will be a “diamond in the rough” that shows up. I don’t know how many of these people really are able to make a living with their talent.\u00a0 But it is exciting.\u00a0 Maybe I live near someone or know someone who is just as good as the big stars.<\/p>\n
