[Today’s run: rest day]<\/p>\n
The field at the end of our street holds horses.<\/p>\n
But over the last few days they have knocked down part of the fence and have taken to wandering around the neighborhood.\u00a0 This afternoon my wife and I saw all nine go through our backyard.\u00a0 We were able to steer them back toward the pasture and six went through the hole in the fence.<\/p>\n
The other three were much more wiley.\u00a0 They ended up in a field north of here.\u00a0 A man in a pickup truck stopped, and he then started working on patching the fence.<\/p>\n
Later some other people came, turned out to be the horse-owners. They were rounding up the last three when we left to go into town.<\/p>\n
