[Today’s run: Watson road]<\/p>\n
We traveled to Hattiesburg, MS for the Steam Whistle 12K, spending the night at the Super 8 last Friday.<\/p>\n
At home we have recently\u00a0 been watching the Inspector Lewis series on NetFlix on my wife’s laptop.<\/p>\n
When we got to the motel I channel surfed for awhile but could not find anything interesting.\u00a0 We ended up watching another episode of Inspector Lewis on the laptop.\u00a0 We didn’t have the external speakers, so it was a less enjoyable experience than what we usually have.<\/p>\n
Ok, the reason I am posting about this event:\u00a0 That television had all sorts of input ports on it including an analog VGA port.\u00a0 If I had thought to bring a VGA cable we could have watched Lewis on the bigger screen.\u00a0 And maybe I could have found a way to put the audio through that TV also.\u00a0 That would have been really nice.<\/p>\n
I don’t keep up with TV technology.\u00a0 I don’t have a modern television of any kind and just don’t know much about it.\u00a0 So I had not given it any thought.\u00a0 Next time we go on a trip I’m going to investigate a bit and see what outputs her laptop has and how we can plug in.<\/p>\n
