{"id":1670,"date":"2011-10-29T20:16:21","date_gmt":"2011-10-30T01:16:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=1670"},"modified":"2011-10-29T20:17:34","modified_gmt":"2011-10-30T01:17:34","slug":"various-stuff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=1670","title":{"rendered":"Various stuff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[Today&#8217;s run: 5k]<\/p>\n<p>Today I ran in a 5k race with my wife and sister-in-law.<\/p>\n<p>In the afternoon I climbed my radio tower to reposition the peak of my G5RV antenna.\u00a0 I have it in a sort-of inverted-V setup.\u00a0 My ground anchor points are a bit limited and it was kind of bent.\u00a0 I figured out a way to straighten it out some, also stretch it out a bit flatter.<\/p>\n<p>I also worked on making a circuit board for part of my GPS-DO project.\u00a0 I struggled quite a bit trying to get the toner-transfer process correct.\u00a0 I watched a couple of videos on youtube.com.\u00a0 Anyway, I eventually got a decent board made. Once I had it all drilled I discovered that I had printed it with the wrong orientation so the pins didn&#8217;t work out the way I needed.\u00a0 I guess I get to practice some more.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the day we went out for ice cream and I successfully demolished a caramel sundae with hot fudge and pecans.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[Today&#8217;s run: 5k] Today I ran in a 5k race with my wife and sister-in-law.
