The last few evenings we have been watching Adam-12 reruns on Hulu.com on the laptop.<\/p>\n
I guess that is kind of sad that we don’t have a 42″ flat screen TV with 99 channels of guys buying stuff at auctions or people named Snookie.<\/p>\n
That’s the way it goes.\u00a0 If I had a TV I would be glued to it every day.\u00a0 This way there is some silly inconvenience of putting the laptop on a kitchen chair and watching the little-bitty screen and finding a show that sounds interesting.<\/p>\n
Not only that, the old shows are better anyway.\u00a0 Take Adam-12 for example.\u00a0 The show is about uniformed policemen.\u00a0 They do policeman stuff and there is very little\u00a0 social commentary.<\/p>\n
We did hear one good line this evening.\u00a0 Speaking about some of the strange people they had been meeting, one officer told the other, “The world is full of squirrels.”\u00a0 That pretty much sums it up.<\/p>\n
