{"id":1146,"date":"2011-08-12T21:00:33","date_gmt":"2011-08-13T02:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=1146"},"modified":"2011-08-12T21:01:23","modified_gmt":"2011-08-13T02:01:23","slug":"friday-and-working-from-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=1146","title":{"rendered":"Friday and working from home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[Today&#8217;s run: 1 mile with the dog]<\/p>\n<p>Got quite a bit done today for the office.\u00a0 But I am still sitting in this chair at 9:00 pm because this is both my&#8221;work&#8221; position and my &#8220;non-work&#8221; position to do internet and pay the bills and whatever.<\/p>\n<p>So I am in this chair a lot of the time.<\/p>\n<p>I have my ham radios here in this room also, I can roll my chair about 6 feet to the right and spin the dial and see who is on the air.<\/p>\n<p>I like working from home, don&#8217;t get me wrong on that.\u00a0 But my view is somewhat constrained.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s why it is good for me to go into town when my wife goes to the gym; I can work from a coffee shop or the bookstore in the mall, or the McDonalds or some place.\u00a0 We usually do something like two or three times a week for a couple of hours or more.<\/p>\n<p>Picture today is of the big pink flowers that we put in pots at the front of the house.\u00a0 It is kind of a viney thing, and like every plant in Mississippi it either thrives or dies and in this case it is taking over the world as much as it can.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-1147\" href=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?attachment_id=1147\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1147\" title=\"IMG00427-20110710-1943\" src=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG00427-20110710-1943-700x933.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"933\" srcset=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG00427-20110710-1943-700x933.jpg 700w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/IMG00427-20110710-1943.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[Today&#8217;s run: 1 mile with the dog] Got quite a bit done today for the office.\u00a0 But I am still sitting in this chair at 9:00 pm because this is both my&#8221;work&#8221; position and my &#8220;non-work&#8221; position to do internet and pay the bills and whatever.
