[Today’s run: 5.5 miles in Starkville]
After the run this morning I stopped in at the local sporting goods store and bought some 12 gauge slug loads for deer hunting. Later in the morning I made a target from an old amazon box and shot three of the slugs at it. They seemed to work fine and went where I aimed.
Around noon I drove down to Tom’s place and we went to Okatibee wildlife refuge and sat all snug and mostly dry in his fold up hunting blind while it rained, and we watched for deer but none came.
When it got too dark we packed up and walked back to the vehicle. Then we went and had some Mexican food. Then I drove home. And here I am.
